Inside Sales Account Support
Who you are:
We are seeking an energetic, responsible individual to join our growing team. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures. The Sales Support position supports the Senior Account Sales Representative in developing account prospects and servicing existing customers with a focus on driving roofing/flooring/concrete service sales in retail chains. The inside account manager will also prepare and start the process for new leads and opportunities with customers.
What you'll do:
- This is a Fully Remote (Work-From-Home) position.
- Work closely with the Account Sales Representative in the local Market to maintain and grow existing accounts, as well as develop new accounts.
- Travel as required to prospect and customer offices/sites to help senior sales representatives secure new business, make presentations, conduct negotiations, and maintain customer relations. Travel mainly entails local meetings when the Account Sales Representative requests.
- Track work orders, estimates, proposals.
- Verify that all operations groups are meeting the agreed deadlines, and customers are receiving information by the deadline.
- Support the Sales Rep by troubleshooting service and repair issues with customers.
- Prospect to identify regional account prospects to call on.
- Develop long-term relationships with decision makers of companies with multiple locations throughout the market.
- Email marketing information to customers and prospects.
- Document daily activities and create/maintain updated prospect and client information in customer relations management (Dynamics) software.
- Cold-call and qualify potential prospects.
- Prepare reports of business transactions and business expenses.
- Identify the service needs of clients, develop and execute a plan that is seamless for both the customer and our company.
- Preparing Repair Proposals, submit and selling to existing customers.
- Generating and maintaining reports for existing customers – KPI reports; scorecards from Dynamics; roof rating reports, etc.
- Preparing Billing/Job packets for sold repair work and beginning execution process.
- Updating clients with “specific” and “special” requests/needs/ongoing tracking.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree is a plus to have with a focus in Communications, Business, Sales, or Marketing or relevant 3+ years of work experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong interest in a challenging and rewarding career.
- Team-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and a good work ethic.
- Strong skills in listening, organization, and sales closing.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
